fortunetly it been made easier thse days , when i jailbroke mine , i was a bit more complicated . but this is what you do . 1.update you itouch on itunes first and in the sync menu , click back up . which it should already do . 2. download this (LINK BELOW) third party program called redsn0w . which will do the jailbreak for you , and run through the steps with you . 3. if u get stuck search youtube ( jailbreak untethered 5.0.1 itouch) hope that helps x http://www.ijailbreak.com/how-to/jailbreak-ipod-touch-untethered-ios-5-0-1-with-redsn0w-0-9-10b1-windows/ simple :)
