Why does my tv turn off by itself after a half hour?

When i turn my tv on it will start to come on then after few seconds will shut itself off?

  • tv was on and working fine when i shut it off then when i went to turn it back on a minute later it started to come on then after a few seconds it shut itself off and keeps doint that everytime i keep turning it back on for last half hour

  • Answer:

    You might have an issue with the power supply or capacitors located within the TV. I'd suggest contacting the manufacture and see if they can troubleshoot it.

do you have dish network or direct tv a Satellite it would do that if there is bad weather outside even wind. or the bill is due or your tv is old and going soon like the picture tube

Yes got it i have same problem dear it is circuit short in side the power supply please fix it or other wise the board will get more spark and may be more damage happens.
