Help! I have a Kodak Easy Share camera and when I try and put the pictures onto my computer it won't work?

I turn on my camera then plug it into the USB on the side of my computer. Then when I click the button to put the pictures onto my computer it shows up saying that there aren't any new pictures or videos on the camera to put on my computer. But I have about 56 pictures on the camera. I've had the camera since Christmas and it's April now. And I'm getting REALLY frustrated. Please help me!!!!!
Answer:

First, open the main photoscreen that shows your albums. Then, click the EasyShare button on your camera and check the boxes for the pictures you want to upload. Only then should you plug the USB into the computer. See if it works?

I didn't bother reading beyond your title. This problem happens with most EVERYBODY! Buy yourself a memory card reader & plug it into your computer. Cost about $6.00. Icon image appears on desktop. Double click icon and 2 folders are their. Open the folders until you find the one with your pictures! Simple, eh? No hair loss, no mental up set, does just what you want all for $6. or less.
