Auto help!! I recharged the freon in my 2001 VW Passat, and now the Malfunction Indicator Light (LIM) turned o?
-
I just recharged my freon this morning at autozone (which the associate did do properly because my AC is now colder than ever), but now the Malfunction Indicator Light (LIM) is on!! It's not the catalytic converter since it's not blinking (says the manuel), so can someone please guide me as to why this happened and how to troubleshoot the problem because I won't pass emmissions with the light on. I'm a college student and I don't have a lot of money just to replace parts for no reason, so any help would be useful. Thank you!

Answer:
Go back and have them plug the code reader in and find out what code is showing. Go from there.
