How much is too much time for fiance to be on the computer?

• My fiance works from home on the computer. He gets up and is on the computer until about 530 in the evening. During this time in the day, he surfs the net, works,talks to his friend, and plays games. He sleeps in until 9 or 10 and stays up until 1 or 2. Almost every nite, I go to bed alone and he gets on the computer for 2 to 3 hrs. He doesnt have many friends and I feel he uses the computer to avoid real interaction. I feel unimportant and that his computer is more important than me. We have fought about it alot. I have tried to be very understanding, but when I do that, he is on the computer more. What would you consider a fair amount of time on the computer? I feel its too much, but he says I'm controlling if I say I dont like it. I was recently gone for 4 days and he was on the computer the majority of the time I was away. One day that I know of he was on it until 5 am. Personally, I think that is too much.

  As you said "Personally, I think that is too much". At the end of the day it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It's your life and your fiance. If you think it is too much then I think it is worth addressing before it becomes more of a problem.
