In class. You needed to know that. Story: So I kind of like this guy. But you need the whole story to understand this. I have been looking at him since the beginning of the school year, and he has too so its not weird ._. One day, Jason just walked up to me and we started to talk and we became good friends. Then ethan came up and we started to chat for only a few words but ethan kept staring at me. So in S.S. I wrote about us talking and how I feel this might go some where. Well cody is ethans friend and he just casually opened my journal when I was in a group practicing something for a presentation with a group in S.S. The next day he kept asking about this ethan dude and I said "nobody. Its none of your business" So during class since i wouldnt talk aloud, he thought he could pass notes ._. So I went with it. He told me a guy named ethan liked me and I said which ethan and he said Ethan(last name) and it was the guy I liked. I thought that since Ethan liked me back that it would be okay if I said I liked it him too. So I did. I wrote it down and passed the note back to cody. I was happy that this was happening. That a guy I liked finally liked me and I can have a relationship. I mean I am pretty, Forest Green eyes(like the monster energy drinks),dark brown hair and clear skin. Everyone says I am pretty so I mean its not that I am ugly that I dont have a bf. I am friends with josh so I told him that ethan likes me. And I was jumpy. Well josh went to the bottom of this and asked ethan if he did like me. Ethan said he 'doesnt know me that well so no'. I was furious kinda that I spilled that I liked ethan to cody and I felt dumb. I confronted cody about it and he said ethan liked me in december but THIS WAS MARCH. AND ETHAN DIDNT EVEN KNOW ME THEN. WE NEVER TALKED IN DECEMBER,NOVEMBER, SEPTEMBER,AUGUST,JANUARY! I was kinda mad at my self. Well ethan is kinda ignoring me but keeps looking at me, more. Jason doesnt care and keeps talking to me. I still talk to josh because he was just the messenger to all of this. And I am a little mad at cody because he gave me bad information. Well now ethan asked josh if I was mad at him, because jason told him I was. Well I rarely get mad(like blowup kinda ignoring mad) so I was confused. Ethan then kept saying, " she is ignoring me and jason keeps telling me she is." So you know when you like a guy but he doesnt like you, you dont tell anyone, But if he likes you back, you tell everyone because you have nothing to lose? Well I regretted telling cody all of this because now ethan thinks I like him. I mean I do, but he doesnt like me back so I am kinda sad about that but I can get over it fast. I am going to talk to ethan monday about telling him I dont like him and stuff and how I am now mad at him and I would like to get to know him more. my speech: I dont know you that well so I cant judge you at all. But do you like me? You can be honest! (If he says yes then I say I like him too but if he doesnt, I say I dont like him). And you thought I was mad at you? I am not, but whyd you think that? Here is my question: IS there another way I can tell him all of that but in a different version of a speech and is what I am doing right? Like telling him I dont like him and stuff. I am still confused on this and I just want to be friends again and no awkwardness anymore and getting the air clear. Is this a stupid idea? like telling him this...What do you think I should say? I am going to dress a little less tomboyish and stuff and have a convo with him. I can FB him because He basically stopped fbing me back once he thought I liked him and so I cant fb him thinking he will respond. Sorry for the long message but its very confusing to me and I am kind of confused about this and I need a second or third or fourth opinion. Dont be mean because I am only in 7th grade.   I have personally been in a situation before and I just have to say, don't go up to him and say you don't like him. Even if he thinks (or knows) you like him, just be your self, and whenever he looks at you smile. Make him look away first. On monday, just go up to him and say hi, and find a reason to talk to him. after a few days of talking, and becoming friends, maybe touch his shoulder when talking to him or comforting him, and try to flirt.
