How many abortions are performed on orphans?

• I tried researching this, and all my search results ended up telling me about how orphans have a shitty life. My question is simple: of the total amount of people that get abortions, how many of them are orphans? I know this is difficult to research and even more difficult to prove due to the privacy of getting an abortion. Just to get a general idea would be great though. Yes, I'm asking this for a class. I'd rather have a source to go to than just numbers. This could tie in greatly to a debate we're doing. Thanks in advance for all your help :D

  You really should be careful how you word this. I read it and thought you were talking about the embryo/fetus being an orphan, and that makes no sense at all. I doubt they have statistics on it, because it simply isn't something easy to keep up with. I think you would just be better off accounting for the fact that teens from foster care often drop out of high school, are often poor, and often wind up in shitty situations (as drug dealers, prostitutes, in prison, homeless, etc) and how that relates to teens becoming pregnant.
