Which is the cheapest community college in DFW area in Texas?

Recommendations of safe, inexpensive places to live in DFW Area?

  • A few months ago, I moved to North Richland Hills to take a few classes at a community college. I live across the street from the Tarrant County College Northeast Campus. I really like that walmart and other stores are so close that I don't ever have to drive on the loop around Ft. Worth, but have had more than one thing stolen. This fall, I will be finishing my degree at a university online. I have thought about moving to Benbrook, Keller, or another area of NRH. I have been living in an apartment, and rent + utilities is around $350. I wouldn't mind trying something else as long as the monthly expenses are not any higher. If they are lower, that is even better. Thank you for the answers.

Wow. Rent and utilities at 350? I want to know where you live. Not many places in DFW will be that cheap. On the Dallas side of the Metroplex, I'd say the northern suburbs are the safest but some are expensive. For cheap, I'd recommend Richardson, Farmers Branxh, Carrollton, and maybe parts of Irving.
