Does USPS ship on weekends?

  • I ordered hair extensions online, they shipped April 11th from Illinois through USPS and I am Canadian. I'm super excited and just curious if it was possible for me to get them tomorrow (a Saturday)? thank you!

    Once the package crosses the border, it is handed over to the Canadian postal service. So, the delivery is up to the Canadian post office. The USPS has nothing at all to do with it. We have _no_ idea when it will arrive. It might stay in customs for 2 days, or for 3 weeks. It is impossible to guess.

What day you get them depends on when they arrive in customs at your country and then are shipped to you from there...it's on your country's postal service once they get into your country so your question is moot.

yes, USPS does ship and deliver on Saturdays for no extra cost but I'm not sure that this applies to international shipping (Canada is still another country so it is international)

There is a chance they will but not to get your hopes down it is cross border and they check stuff like crazy being shipped cross border so It could maybe be monday. I'm from Illinois and I had a package come in and it stayed in the town right across border for about 4 or 5 days then took an additional 3 days. I think you'll have better luck though good luck! :D

Yes, the US Postal Service delivers on Saturday. It depends on what class they were shipped as to how long it will take to be delivered.
