How to check whether my visa was cancelled or not?

I left Abu dhabi, UAE 8months back without cancelling my resident visa!!!?

• I left Abu dhabi, UAE 8months back without cancelling my resident visa. It is now expired. My labor card was cancelled in my absence, based upon my resignation letter i gave to my employer. Employers PA told that he can cancel my visa later on once my Employer comes back to UAE, and told me that i can leave. Now i came to know that an Absconding report filed on me by them. I could check online my MOL card status which was cancelled. My employer is not responding to my emails or phone calls. How to get my visa cancelled on my passport now? Can i write a letter to Abudhabi police or Ministry of Interiors or MOL (labor) to inform them reg. my situation and ask for there help??? What do you suggest me???

  you say you are away from abu dhabi for 8 months. So, your residance visa is expired as well as your labor visa because you had to get back to uae after 6 months for it not to be expired. I
