What corporate business behaviours are criminal?

Do you think these behaviours will violate any human rights codes?

  • I'm a college student, and my family has temporarily asked me to help with some paperwork at their business for a few weeks this summer. One of my cousins is a deadbeat, but they allow him to act as supervisor of a department there, and throughout the day I noticed him do the following: - Make jokes about how men are "superior" in front of the females there, and generally put females down for being women. - Make stereotypical requests to females as mean-spirited jokes (e.g. he would spill something on the ground, and jokingly ask one of the women to clean it up) - Constantly mock the accents of the more foreign workers (e.g. put on a Chinese accent whenever one of the quiet, Asian workers tried to ask him a question) - Generally acting like a bully (he's always been that way) Would these behaviours violate any human rights codes by making it a poisoned or hostile work environment?

  • Answer:

Man up and deal with it yourself don't run to the authority's But you know its wrong so that's enough, you have wisdom on your side so don't be afraid to use it, you have a moral obligation to deal with this forget about the suing aspect that's all i was saying, so yes you should Absolutely let your family know about your cousins behaviour although if it were me i would speak to him first and allow him the opportunity to rehabilitate himself, its really up to you how you deal with it but that's my opinion.

Ever hear of the EEOC If anyone feels offended, they can file a complaint with the EEOC.

Yup, they could sue or press charges.
