How can you ask a guy out?

How do I ask my mom if I can go somewhere with a older guy even though my friends are with me?

• So, recently my friend found this guy who she really likes. He is about to turn 17 and we are 14. He asked her to go to a outlet mall kind of as a small date this Friday. Her mom's totally ok with her going with him. She asked us if me and my other friend wanted to go because she wanted us to meet him. I'm not sure how to ask my mom if I can go? How do I tell her that I want to go somewhere with a random 17 year old guy at night with no adults. She has never liked me going to parties or anything, even though she lets me. I want to be totally honest with her about it, but she is REALLY protective and there is no way she will be like "Yeah you can ride in a car with a 17 year old and go somewhere at night with him" I mean how do I ask her? I am really scared but i really want to go. When i always want to go somewhere with just like my friends, she always asks for the details like "Whos going" "whos the adult" "Can i speak to her mom" "where exactly will you be and when" So any suggestions? Im not going to just sneak out, that could be possibly the worst thing ever. Thanks so much... :) Sorry this is long!
