  With that kind of degree you might have a shot at DOD police or maybe even a E-911 dispatcher but there are several other qualifications one must meet despite a degree. Many DOD police and desk personnel or E911 operators do not have degrees, they just met the qualifications for the job posting, were selected and hired and sent to school and are employed. There are a lot of DOD jobs that are non degree specific and don't even require a degree but the best place to start looking is on usajobs as there is were the DOD civilian employment opportunities are posted and once you start looking through some of them you will get a better idea of what is there and what the various qualifications are that they are looking for. Many degree related jobs they post the requirement for a PHD and some of the others they just want certain qualifications as in the case of E911 operators you will need CPR certification, E911 training, able to secure a Secret Clearance and the list goes on but a Degree in CJ is not one of them. It helps, but is not a requirement. Other jobs that would require a degree you would not qualify for because they are not looking for CJ degrees but rather History for historians or Education for training development as a few examples.
