What to say when calling back an employer?

Need help with des claim previous employer shows im working full time when I was laid off?

• ok so this isnt for me lets start there. Im calling on behalf of a friend who doesnt speak english great. So the problem is she was laid off from her job 2 weeks ago and filed for Unemployment. But her pervious employer shows her full time status. Now her claim is in the investgation office. The problem is the place she used to work you can only verify online and when they laid her off the disable her account. So the agent told me they had 3 days to get back to her with proof that she was working full time I couldnt imagine them faking info. However the agent said if they dont get info it will go into a debate without any info from the employer. Does this mean she wins? She had a phone call where she said they laid her off and that she was no longer working as well as telling them they disabled her account so she cant login to check employment status through employer? Do you think she'll be ok? Will she most likey be granted unemployment? Sorry but the people have me worried cause they cant say one way or another which i get it its their job but would just like to be know the odds!

  Odds? This isn't a crap shoot. All the information on the situation needs to be investigated and verified before the claim of unemployment will be paid. Money is not paid and will not be paid until all the paperwork is verified and processed. Your friend can request that they give her retro-active payment from the time that she first filed, but that is about the best that can be done until her eligibility can be verified.
