How do I become an editorial journalist?

How do I become a journalist?

  • Someone please tell me what experience and how do I become a journalist, do I need to be qualified?

  • Answer:

First you need to find out if you have talent. Then you need to determine, if you do, how much talent you have. Do you have enough to earn a living as a journalist? The best way to find out if you're talented, and if you have a lot of talent, is to attend a college where the professors would be the best judge.

You need a university degree in Journalism and probably social science which will include media studies. It is very hard to get a job as a journalist, my friend went to uni about 10 years ago and done all the degrees and extra ones and is still trying to get a job, he does the occasional job for a musical newspaper regarding pop groups playing at the local exhibition centres, Good Luck
