My friend can do this cool thing on msn...how?

My ex-friend stealing all my current friends?

  • Okay, so here's the story - I basically fell out with my friend over a very long story that I can't be bothered to tell, but it all boils down to say that my ex-friend is a very mean person. Deep down, she is a nice, honest and funny person but on top, she has a physcological problem. So I broke away from her and made friends with this new girl - she was kind, sweet, and shy but I liked her. We had a really good friendship. My ex-friend comes onto the scene, and manages to prise her way in between our friendship - and she ends up being best friends with MY best friend. Left on my own, I struggle to find a new friend because everyone else has more or less secure friendships, but I find a humorous, pretty, and considerate friend, although she's quite ignorant although she suits it. We became good friends and became close. Anyway, my ex-friend is with her new friend (who used to be my best-friend) finally fall out because my ex-friend is REALLY REALLY REALLY sensitive and moody. So my old best friend comes back to me - I think this is great, because I have two best friends now, although I'm slightly offended that my old best friend left me for my ex-friend. I have become friendly back with my old best-friend and I guess my current, considerate friend feels a bit left out. Although I keep my friendship up with her and still insist that she is my best friend. my ex-friend comes along and steals that friend away! AGAIN! For about the 8th time, since I met her. Next thing I know, they are going into town together, and going to each others houses etc. I feel really offended because this ex-friend of mine has some SERIOUS physcological problem - she has an urge to steal whatever friend I have - whoever it is. If my old best friend who I am friends with at the moment dumps me for someone else again, I'll be left alone AGAIN. For the 8th time. I hate my ex-friend with all my soul, I would damn her to hell if I could. I would walk past her if she dropped down dead in front of me. Help me! Give me some advice! Please! Thanks for all suggestions. I'm 13 years old. PS: If you don't like long descriptions, don't answer my question, so don't complain about the length if the description although I am sorry for making it so long.

  • Answer:

Sounds like this ex best friend has a desperate desire to be in the centre of attention. She's probably very manipulative and intrusive.ci had a best friend with similar psychological issues. She drove me away from my best friends and would always just intrude on my plans and then subtly try to make me feel bad if I made plans without her. Your ex best mates will realise one day once they see through her charade. Just give it time and they'll come back to you. Friendships as superficial as that never last.

TRUE friend don't abandon you. Hating someone wastes a lot of energy. If your "friends" stopped being your friend, then they were not true friends to begin with.

I'm very sorry about that. Friendships at school are so complicated! One minute you have 10 best friends then 5 etc... But what you have to do is put your foot down and speak your mind! How you are feeling, and what is she trying to prove? I personally think that she is jelous that you can get friends as easily as you do, but try and form a truce. Eventually you should all be friends. Tell her how it is effecting you, and try and take back all of your friends. Talk to your other best friend and tell her to try and talk to your ex-friend that it's not fair etc. They liked you once they have to like you again. Hope this helped :D
