Why are people posting numbers on facebook?

What do you think of people who claim to have a job, but stay online posting updates on Facebook all the time?

• I find it hilarious. One person for example, claims to be a childminder, but spends most of her time on social networks like Facebook posting songs and updating while " being at work " and reminding everyone that she is busy minding kids. Hmm but finding time to post updates all day ? lol. How could she possibly be looking after kids ? I've noticed it with others too online. Usually the ones who tell you they are working, aren't i reckon. It's kind of an insecurity thing, creating a personality and life they want online you think ? I'm talking more the ones who keep posting about how hard they are working, and claim to be in work, when they are posting updates all the time about it, and songs, and having conversations etc on the posts. I'm well aware many people online DO have jobs. So don't take my question the wrong way. But the ones who constantly go on about going to work or updates like " im off to work laters guys " and then half hour later they are posting updates, songs etc. and chatting. then telling you again about work, surely are the ones who are full of BS, right ? And i am talking specifically about the social networks where people post songs, updates etc . I should clarify that Theres another site called myyearbook.com , man you should see some of the BS people post on there, and clowns believing it . Its funny, but a bit annoying too.
