What does it mean if this girl is telling her friend how much weight ive lost ?

• Okay some background, I have known both these girls for 2 years, I graduated hs and kinda lost contact for awhile. Recently I've begun hanging out with this girl ill call girl A again. I've developed strong feelings for her and I'm pretty sure she feels the same but its such a good friendship Idk if I'm willing to lose her as a friend if she doesn't. Either way in late Feb I started insanity I was at 270 and now I'm down to 220. I'm doing this for me to get healthy, and for her to find me more attractive ( she has said I'm cute even when I was fat ) so the other day me and another of our good friends Jake who has also lost roughly 45 lbs and looks waay smaller went to hang with her and she exclaimed Damn Matt you've lost a ton of weight, he got nothing. Then were hanging with her friend who I used to know and her friend says I look way different then I did like 7 months ago and she says in front of girl A that girl A has been telling her I've been working out and lost a ton of weight and girl A says yeah doing that insanity. So Im really just trying to see if this is her trying to drop hints because I think I might honestly love her I've never felt this before. We talk for literally hours but I'm terrible at flirting I never was really the kid to say stuff to her like oh you look beautiful etc. I never know if I should hug her now whenever I see her if I didn't really before. So if anyone can make sense of this I'm just wondering if I should start commenting back about her looking beautiful and hug her when I see her and if its normal for girls to talk like that if they are not interested or if it sounds like I should make a move if so what's a good way to do that
