**************this is gonna be pretty long so sorry in advance, and also thank you if you read it all. alright, to start off: I am a 17 year old female, in 11th grade. I am obese, measuring in at 5'7.5" and with a BMI of about 39. I know, it's really heavy. I'm not here to be bashed about being fat. I am here to find HELP. Being overweight runs in both sides of my family, along with big boobs. As a little kid, I was at a normal weight. I was an early bloomer, I started getting boobs when I was like 9.. I became overweight at about the age of 7. So it's not really puberty. It's kind of a mix of heredity, the way I was raised, and an unhealthy lifestyle. However since I have that heredity factor in there, it's a little harder to lose weight and actually keep it off. So I was wondering, how can I get my weight WAY down? I'm aiming to finally be able to *confidently* wear a two piece bikini. I don't know if that will happen because I'm scared that I will get the flabby tummy :( and I already have stretchmarks like everywhere. It's sooooooo embarrassing. The part that makes me even sadder is that, my face, hair, personality and style are all pretty. I know that because I'm not the only one that thinks it. But because of my weight, I've never had a boyfriend. The only problem I have with myself is my stinkin' body. I've tried many times to lose weight and never really succeed in losing over 5 pounds. My jean size is 20-22 and my shirt size is about 2X. My honest goal is to get to about size 10 pants. and maybe, a large in shirts. Or to be able to shop at the really cute stores like Forever21, H&M, and wet seal. I know, it's a little unrealistic but I am a very determined and motivated girl. I often look at the skinny models and stuff in magazines and wish that I was them. ALSO, next year I'm going to Hawaii for spring break (a year from this month). I REALLLLLLLLY want to finally be able to go on the beach in BEACH ATTIRE, and not warm clothes like jeans and capris and long sleeved shirts and stuff. I also want to be able to wear shorts and tanktops without feeling nasty and trashy. I'm a very happy girl for the most part, but my weight causes a lot of stress on me. I don't want to only lose weight to look better, but also to feel better. I know my confidence would be way better, I could join my rugby team next year (we won first in state last year but I couldn't play this year due to my shin splints from being so unfit), and I also would like to get a breast reduction, but I want it to be when I'm skinnier because I want to be a C cup instead of DD, and I don't really want boobs smaller than my stomach.. let's be real. I also have back pain, due to my boobs and weight. So there is definitely a lot of reasons why I should lose weight. So can ANYBODY please give me GOOD advice? I'm seriously so desperate to lose weight, and before I go to higher measures such as talking to nutritionists, I was wondering if I could just get the help from you guys. I also don't have a license, or a job, because my mom feels as if we should focus on school and only school. I plan to get a summer job. I DO babysit, but not often so I don't have much money. I have a YMCA pass, so which machines should I use most often? How often should I go? For how long? Is there specific information I should know? Also, I'm pretty okay with the diet part. I'm cutting out all pops/sodas, sweets, junk foods, and fast foods, and the little that I do have will be in very small portions. Please don't tell me to count carbs and stuff because that just seems too time consuming and I don't think I could carry through with it. But yeah please, please, please, PLEASE help me out to the best of your advantage! I'm so desperate to finally have a beach body :( I'm so sick of being that 'overweight girl' that no guy wants to date. Ugh. Thank you if you read this, so much, and thank you if you answer! ♥

You need to Google the Atkins diet its basically a high protene diet with all carbs omitted. You only eat meat fish cheese and eggs, so no wheat pasta bread pasta alcholl anything madep with or containing carbs and no drinks containing Suger, you can eat vegatgatables but no peas cos of the sugar content you can eat salad but make sure the dressing has no carbs. you need to drink 3 litres (5 pints ) water daily to flush out kidneys. Also gently exercise like walking will be good to start. This diet gets your metabolic rate rising so you burn off fat.

Like others have said, cut out soda and junk food. At first try to stick to home cooked meals. Then start watching what you actually eat. Throw some vegetables into the mix. Watch your snacking, eat fruit instead. Also stop eating when you are actually full, not when your plate is empty. Start with small excersices. Walk around your neighborhood, maybe jog and work your way to running. You could also take vitamins and diet pills if you please, not suggesting diet pils are best. Safslim works too. Good luck!

my mum is no where near fat but this is what she does 2 stay slim: wake up early and exercise for a few minutes either skip breakfast or for breakfast have a LIQUID for lunch something very small like a yoghurt or maybe a slice of toast ur only full meal of the day will be at dinner, but that dinner must be healthy ignore Xena coz having breakfast makes u want to eat more coz u've started ur day off by eating.

Have you tried eating small meals? No so little but enough? Lots of water go for walks on a daily bases. If you drink a lot of pop that's the first thing you should cut.

If you really want to loose weight and commit to it, then you could do it! You have to eat healthy no junk food. Change the fatning snacks for fruit. And take walks or runs do crunches because that will tighten youre stomach and as you loose weight your skin wont be flabby. Also try to stick with water instead of soda and i hope by loosing weight you will feel better about yourself..good luck

It sounds like you know what you need to do. Take a 2 fish oil pills every day, to boost your metabolism, and drink 6-8 glasses of water every day to flush out your fat cells and help digest food more efficiently. But the most important thing is to just stick to it. What I find helpful to do, is every night I record what happened that day on my diet. What went good, what went wrong, and what i hope to do the next day. Any time you want to eat something fattening, write down "I can lose weight. I can do it". (I prefer to use my cell phones, since I can delete it afterwards and no one will find me talking to myself). Keep yourself motivated; imagine yourself laying on the beach in a bikini with a flat stomach, slender legs, and a C-Cup. BE SURE TO EXERCISE AS YOU GO. If you exercise WHILE you diet, then your skin will graduate tighten as you gradually loose weight. However, if you loose weight while not exercising you will be left with flabby skin, so exercise about 3-5 times a week or more to keep your skin tight and burn more calories.

Sweetie there are obese people that wear bikinis. There are obese people that get married. I understand you want to be thinner and healthy all that is good. But you don't have to stay in your house a like a vampire shunning the world until you look a certain way. Stopping yourself from doing what you want to do will only make it harder to do what you really want to do which is lose weight. If want to join your ruby team then do try out for it. You might get it no matter you size. Don't think that you can go from a bmi for 39 to 20 in a few months this gonna take at least a year or 2. But don't give up. Try joining this. Go walking or jogging first for an hour everyday . If you can do it, try running in the same way. If you've become a regular and you can finally control your heart rate (meaning- for 1st timers, vigorous exercise will raise thier heart rate really high, your tissues don't get enough oxygen and you finally have to stop after a mere 3 minutes time. But when you do it often, you got athlete's heart rate which don't shoot up on exercise) , go to gym as well (don't stop the daily run for 1 hour). You should also do ab exercises (go find them on http://fitbie.msn.com and http://www.fitnessmagazine.com) and choose about 4 of them, do them 60times each before you shower. Great work on cutting sodas and junk food. Don't forget to cut pizza and burgers as well. and also rice and white bread. Take diabetes bread instead. There's less sugar and carbs. Just send me an email if you have a question. I'm not a professional but I know exacely what you mean. I'm also aiming for bikini body as well with a six-pack so I won't judge. Just don't do diet pills and don't vomit, dear. If you can control yourself, why don't you eat vegetables only during this time? It will help you a lot. If you're hungry, eat fruits and vegetables SLOWLY and STOP before you get full. This is important. Never get full. Drink water instead to get full. This is my secret to not gaining weight (but it won't help you lose much more weight). If you're thirsty, drink water.
