What are the best workouts to lose weight?

What is the best way to LOSE WEIGHT? Hey there. I just started going to the gym about a month ago and i am doing cardio and weights but i don't like the results i am getting.. If it were up to me i would do only cardio to lose the weight and THEN tone up... why? bc i don't want to turn my fat into muscle. I am not skinny nor a heavy person, i am about average. i have a slim waist, with curves... i have hips, thighs and butt (lol) i am a size M in shirt and pants (size 7 jeans) i am not losing weight though, i have actually gained. yes, it could be muscle weight but im not trying to TONE or get bigger i want to LOSE WEIGHT! i am 25 years old and have two daughter's a 1 & 2 year old and i weigh 137 started the gym at 133 i want to try and get to the 120's maybe 125.... i know im not a teen or what not but i just want to feel great about myself... im not doing this for anyone just myself ;) MY routine at the gym.. 30 minutes of cardio then depending on the day work out legs or arms abs and then cardio again but only for 15m that's what i do everyday and yes i look firmer but im still the same size and im actually getting bigger so what do i do? personal trainers say in order to lose weight you do both cardio and weights but i don't like the results i am getting. do i just do carido???? btw the weight i do is light. i do 3 sets of 10-15

Dear, As per your details u just need to tone up u'r body. Continue with u'r cardio and don't go for weight training coz the r tend to make ur muscles. When u do weight training u gain weight. U can also loose weight by weight training by controlling u'r diet. But i guess u don't need to do that. As per ur description u have a gr8 body just keep doing cardio. Weight loosing for a fat person is a fast process while for an average person its lil harder coz weight reduction goes slow as u loose weight. u can try some high impact Cardio (Try Google it). And most important thing is take balanced diet avoid fast foods, oily and sugar. All the best.

Hmmmm..... yes, you're right. Cardio IS the best way to lose weight. It seems like you're doing everything right. Just make sure you go to the gym more than once a week. You need to work out at least three days a week to see good results. It could be that you just haven't spent enough time at the gym. You mentioned that you just started going to the gym about a month ago. Most people don't see satisfying results until a few months after they started working out. Just keep doing what you are doing. Also, make sure your diet is good. It's important to eat healthy food as well.
