Why are my teeth all of a sudden sensitive to cold and hot?

Why are a couple of my teeth all of a sudden sensitive?

  • So my teeth just started feeling sensitive earlier today, I noticed it when i was eating. I usually dont drink soda but have been drinking soda today, could that be it? its my 2 upper canine teeth, when i rub my tongue on them i dont feel much, but when i rub them with my finger then they start to get really sensitive. is it from drinking soda? or could these be cavities or something?

  • Answer:

It could be a number of things. Soda could tell you if you have a cavity possibly if it is sensitive. But also whitening and tarter control toothpastes can also cause sensitivity. Stress and clenching your teeth as well
