How do I become a "Straight A" student?

How can I become more of a straight-A student?

• It has been a goal of mine to be a little genious when I was little (yes, I wanted to be Lisa Simpson), but guess what? Not in this life! I am now in 8th grade (like 9th in the U.S.?) and I'm REALLY disappointed. In Sweden, where I'm from, there are 5 subjects where it's most important to have higher grades: Swedish, English, Mathematics, Science and Socials. We got our first grades before Christmas last year and after a year of some problems with focusing and some personal issues (such as panic attacks and nervous breakdowns) here are my grades: - Swe: B (Crap..) - Eng: A (My only A!) - Math: E (<-- My BIGGEST PROBLEM!!!) - Nat: D, D, E (Biology, Phisics, Chemistry) - Soc: D (In all subjects, can't remember all for the moment) As you can see, maths sure knows how to drive me insane, I don't understand anything! It's literally just letters and numbers all over the place that doesn't make any sense! I keep getting told that I put alot of pressure on myself, but I feel I absolutely have to! So if I don't get more A's, I always think I'm pretty much f*cked, and my lack of concentration is NOT helping. :'( And by the way: I have a chemistry test tomorrow. SH*T!!!!!!

  get off of any social networks, put your phone away, and find a quiet and clear work space to start your work. study for tests in advance, see teachers for clarification about what exactly is going to be on the test and PAY ATTENTION DURING CLASS, this is the most important thing you can do.
