How To Answer Interview Questions?

How to answer questions in interview for visiting America?

  • I'm invited to the UK's US Embassy this friday because they've chosen my application for a exchange trip to visit the US this summer and I'm worried I'm going to lose out because I won't answer the questions right...! It's an entrepreneurship-tailored trip so they'll most likely ask me why I want to go America, what are my interests. Could you please offer advice as to how to prepare, answer and ideas of possible questions. I really want this trip. thank you so much; best answer 10 points. :)

  • Answer:

Unsure without more details, but if it is business oriented - entrepreneurship and sponsored by the US embassy (which means you should probably butter them up a bit)- you could theme your answers about a curiosity of America's capitalist system, the opportunity to see another large economy function under a slightly different system, the chance to discover what may be better or worse, etc. . . Definitely don't pander to them - they'll see through any insincerity. You could also say it would be exciting to be in America the summer prior to a Presidential election and to see a different political process in action - our elections are much different then yours even though both are democracies. If the visit includes travel, definitely mention how great it would be to travel through some of the States and experience the different parts of the States, both geographically and socially. Hope this helps. I wish you the best of luck!!!
