Is the 2009 GED test easy or hard?

Advice on taking the GED?

• Hey, I have a General Certificate of Education from Cambridge from 2009 which I got pretty low scores on, unfortunately. My goal is to start my bachelors degree in Hotel Management online by most probably an American university. But, with my current grades on my diploma, I think chances are low of being accepted which is why I am considering studying and taking the GED test here in Milano, Italy. Do you think by taking the test (an hopefully achieving good grades) I would have a better chance of getting in (also since GED is American) or should I not waste the time and effort and try with my current diploma? Also is the GED recognized in Italy?

  Yea!!! I just passed my GED test and thought I would let you know how much I appreciate your advice. When I last wrote, I was about at the end of my rope with trying to pass the GED tests. I had taken it twice and still had not passed the math, essay, and reading parts of the GED test. I thought I would never pass the GED test and get my GED. The bad thing was that all this failure was really affecting my whole life. My friends, family, and even my girlfriend, were treating me like a loser. I was depressed and feeling pretty low. So, what happened to turn it around? A couple of things helped.GED classes online really helped. It was actually fun. Then there was your advice on the GED test in one of the newsletters to just keep trying and not let the failure of the test get me down. What I didn’t realize up until then was how my attitude about learning was getting in the way. Once I really committed to it, I was able to get it done. The other thing that helped me was to practice more on my writing.Online GED classes on writing really helped me.
