What are my chances of getting into UC Berkeley?

What are my chances of getting into selective universities such as USC (So. Cal), Rice, UCLA, UC Berkeley, etc?

• I'm currently a junior and was wondering what my chances were for getting into the above mentioned schools. Freshman GPA: 4.0 (this does not include PE, I took the two advanced courses offered) Sophomore: 4.15 (1 AP- only offered AP), 4.0 weighted Junior: 4.5 (3 AP classes), 4.0 unweighted I've played 2 years of varsity tennis and 1 year of JV I've also been on the track team for 3 years (1 year varsity) I play the piano, flute and piccolo I have won some awards and ratings for my playing. I am also in an intense youth orchestra- we will be traveling to Ireland this year. I'm part of a fashion internship at Nordstroms- this is my third year. I have about 150 hours of community service from hospital volunteering, crisis center volunteering, and relay for life. I also have a club at school that I cofounded in which we Help out needy kids locally and nationally. I am also the co-president of the Italian club. My sat was a 2250, hopefully I can get it up! Also, Im a national merit finalist. I do not know yet if I am a nation merit scholar. I have many teachers who can write recommendations as well as my boss at Nordstrom, my tennis coach, and my instrumental teachers. Thank you, sorry I know that was REALLY long!

  There's "selective" and then there's "elite". You'll get into a selective university, but it;s too early to tell if you're competitive for elite universities. Include some 2nd tier schools, such as: Sewanee—University of the South Colgate University University of Rochester
