What do you have to do, college wise, to do clerical work?

What college classes should I take if I want to work on cars as a hobby?

  • I'm 18, I have a scholarship for a 2 + 2 plan (2 years community college, 2 years University) and I'm going to college pretty soon. I'm going to get my A.A degree in Computer Science so I'm majoring in computer programming/Engineering. I was undecided on my minor but now I want to work on cars just for a hobby. Repairing them, Making parts, Building them, Maintenance, modifications, all that good stuff just for the fun because I'm fascinated with cars and have no clue how they work so I would love to learn that as a minor while I pursue my major but I have no clue what the minor is called or what classes to take for it. I have an appointment with my adviser a week from now to discuss classes but i'm too excited to wait! What is the minor I should take for cars? and what classes are taken with this if you know. THANK YOU!

  • Answer:

Basically take engineering classes but check the school catalogs to see if they have auto courses that you could take.
