Should I go for a graduate degree in accounting or finance?
-
I am currently majoring in accounting and I was wondering if it would make me more appealing in the job market to have a bachelors degree in accounting, CPA, and a graduate degree in finance compared to a bachelors in accounting, CPA, and a graduate degree in accounting.

Answer:
The BBA/BS Acctg and CPA are plenty. It would be very difficult to not find gainful employment. The advantage of an MBA or grad degree is if you want to teach or if a specific job requires the further education. Even then it would be after a couple of years of work experience. If you are working in a financial organization then maybe the Finance grad degree may help - it depends on too many variables to answer here.
