Is it extremely hard to become a nurse?

HOW HARD IS IT TO BECOME A NURSE PRACTITIONER ?!?

  • Hello guys, I am currently a high school student about to graduate. I applied to a nursing program for college in Ontario, and from there, I am going to transfer to university and obtain my BScN degree. However it has always been my dream to become some sort of advanced health care professional. What brings me here is to ask how hard it is to get into a Master degree program for nursing? What are the statistics for enrolment? Can any average person do it? And in ever aspect of being a nurse practitioner, what benefits do they have? Is this all worth it ? please let me know. Thank you for your time guys !

  • Answer:

You must first get your BSN and several years of experience. The more nursing experience you have the better chance you have of getting in. NP Masters programs are very challenging and you need excellent marks to get in.
