Can you have more than one Stafford loan at the same time?

Disbursement of Stafford Loan for a first year student but not a first time borrower?

  • Ok so, I am going back to school after 4 years. I had originally tried one of those online schools back before i was 24 and it wasn't for me. I had a Stafford loan but it has since been paid off. I really want to hit the road running so i want to take a bare min of my living cost out of a Stafford loan, my question is does the 30 day hold apply to me, as i have had one of these loans before, but am considered a first year student?

Not sure what a "30 day supply is" but as long as you paid it off you should be all set. You should have no problem receiving another one.
