You'll have to move super inland. Nowhere by the beach is cheap. I live in San Diego and I have a little 4,000 square foot house and it costs more than 15,000 square foot house in South Dakota.

You prolly dont want the cheapest, just saying. however if you dont mind risking your life then go for it. This stuff depends if you are looking to buy a house or rent one, remeber that buying is cheaper if you have the time to look around, but you need good credit. Honestly though yahoo answers isnt the place to really find these answers, try realitors around that area.
