How can I, as a teenager, make money fast?

  • I am very young, around thirteen, and I need to make $100 so I can rent a French Horn from my school when I reach 8th grade, which is in August. My parents are in a tight financial spot so I need to raise the money myself so I can rent it for both semesters. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hi, you don't need to make 100 bucks. You need to make 20 bucks 5 times. You have 5 months to make 100 so that is only 20 a month... or about 66 cents a day. Figure that AND at least 20 bucks from your folks and you are doing ok. I would start looking around for baby sitting jobs and such, you just need a few bucks every week to meet your goal. Also, horn players are in much demand.......see if the band will give you a "scholarship" of 50 bucks to help out..... or they will be out a horn player. REREADING you Question, the 100 would pay for the whole year, right? If you only got 1/2 a years rental it would only be 50 bucks. That's 10 a month! Ask your folks to kick in 1 for every 2 you make to help you out.
