Ok then heres another question. is the coil+ wire go to the ignition or to the fuse box then the ignition.?

I also have a big red wire that comes from the silver box into the boot where does that go? A red and black wire from the ignition to boot wheres that connecting? Then from the back of the clock i have three wires missing indicators. lights and main beam and is the gen light aurposed to be one all the time? And can any one send me an idiots easy to follow wiring diagram lol. to [email protected] any and all help would be magic. i got the engine started by joining the red black wire to the big red wire and the only wire untouch at the ignition which is red. Oh its the same 1972 vw beetle
