Which Porsche is the fastest?

Porsche Boxster or a Nissan 350z? Which is cooler for a teenage boy?

  • This summer i'll be getting a job as a lifeguard and my parents agreed to buy me either a Porsche Boxster 986 or a Nissan 350z as long as I pay $300 dollars towards it each month. Ive already saved up $5000 dollars for it as well. I really cant decide between the two. I like the look of the 350z better, but then the Boxster looks more classy, and plus, it's a PORSCHE! Which is pretty cool. I don't know whether the kids at my school will think the boxster looks like a little girls car, or whether they'll be in awe because its a porsche. I know I shouldn't care that much about what people think, and I really don't, but I just want to hear alot of peoples decisions before I choose between the two cars. I don't want either of these cars to race them, I just like the look of sport cars more. So which one do you think I should get? By the way, several kids at my school have Camaros, Challengers, and I think about half of them have stupid Mustangs. I kind of want my car to be different than what other kids have, so I think a Porsche will definitely do that. Thanks in advance! P.S.- Clearly since I'm getting a 20k sports car, insurance and maintenance aren't an issue. I already know that they both cost alot. If they didn't then I would be getting a 30k sports car. P.P.S.- I'm not a spoiled rich kid. I make good grades, I have a job, and I volunteer at the hospital every day I don't work. My parents agreed to get me this car because of my hard work. P.P,P.S.-Only talk about these cars. I don't want to hear about how I should get a little crappy Honda or a van.

well, a porsche is more than costing alot. their money pits. isnt going to last 100k miles regardless of how you maintain it. hell, even at 50k its a ticking time bomb and not to mention, its going to be ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of fcking money. porsche dealers call for like 140-*200 bucks an hour for labor and everything is a pain in the *** to do, so expect to shell out like 1500 bucks just for some coilovers and about 12 grand for a new trans as they are notorious for trans issues...really i wouldnt get a porsche unless it was new a 350z...you might get like 120k miles out of it before it goes to shyt and at 20k you prolly wont even find one that doesnt have under 75k...i would get that, its more bad *** out of the two but really i wouldnt buy either but if i were you id look at this if you want something nobody has, their 12 second cars all day long. their mercedes under chrysler clothing, never really understood why this isnt in real high demand. id buy one but im to occupied with my cars http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SRT6-SRT-6-Navigation-AMG-330hp-super-nice-/380429933481?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item5893641ba9 OR other notable mentions that will make you stand out, and command respect ls1 corvette...i think you should get this ls1 trans am ws6 nissan 300zx(twin turbo one) 2006 or so pontiac gto dodge ram srt10(truck with viper motor)

Porsche's are for girls. Actually, Porsche's are so girly that I would not drive one. Get the 350z.
