ROCKBAND OR GUiTAR HERO?

DRUMMERS AND GUITAR HERO/ROCK BAND PLAYERS PLEASE... rockband/guitar hero drum's to learn drumming?

• i'v learned guitar bass and piano naturally for 7 years now so i have a sense of melody/rhythm, i want to buy a full drum set, but before so i want to make sure it suits my likings, so does rock band or guitar hero 5 drumming help one learn drumming basic's and get the hang of drumming? is it as realistic as a real one ( i know its made out of plastic) but does it have all the important parts like hi hat,SNARE,toms,kick drum? p.s which game has most accurate drumming? thanks.

  Well it doesn't really have a hi-hat, and only has two toms, but it does in some way teach you some of the basics of drumming. It has many of the same rhythms and beats that real drummers use in songs and is actually quite realistic when it comes to that. It does have a snare, two toms, and a kick pedal, but unfortunately no hi-hat, but the guitar hero drums do have two cymbals, which are used as a hi-hat and ride. If you already have the game, i would recommend giving it a try. Since you have played piano for 7 years, drumming might come naturally to you. (I played piano for 7 years as well, and learned drums very fast). I have played guitar hero and not rockband, but from what iv played, guitar hero does seem to be pretty realistic to actually playing drums.
