How do you get people to take you seriously?

How can I get people to stop underestimating me and take me seriously?

• And it's mostly my friends so it sucks. I get teased (in good nature) all the time because I'm really short (4'11) and "cute" and my friends just poke at me and playfully push me around because they know I'm weak. And that really doesn't bother me but when ever I am serious or upset or angry they just treat me like a fussy kitten (especially when I'm angry) and they just say "aw, you're to cute!" and just snuggle me when I'm saying "guys I'm serious..." I will admit that I'm very random and I'll just say something out of the blue just to make my friends laugh (I love making people laugh and smile) So because of this when I'm trying to explain something important they just laugh and say "just stop talking, your a ditz." I know they are not trying to be mean but (I'm sorry if I sound like a sook) it does get under my skin every now and again, and I'm very easy going. What could I do for people to honestly take me seriously when I'm trying to be?

  People treate you seriously only if they respect you; you wrote that your friends underestimate you, and if they do that, how can you still regard them as "friends"? They don't respect you nothing. If you are sure you don't behave in a silly way, so that your friend's behaviour is unjustified, you should be the first one to keep respect to you: leave that guys and look for best people. So don't change yourself, because the peoblem is not you: is their stupidity!
