Why I said on my previous question about English people not knowing how to speak a second language ?
-
A lot of people felt like am been to proud knowing how to speak My 1st language and English. What I was trying to say is that English people always think we speak to fast or have an accent. But WHY WOULDN'T WE?? English is not my 1st language am trying to speak you don't expect me to speak English as if English is my 1st language. And I finnished it by saying English people "most of them" can't speak a 2nd language. So if am speaking your language English they shouldn't be like I have an accent. Because if they speak my language they will have an accent as well. Even those English people that speak franch and other language they do have accent. So is not that am proud to know 2 language is just the way English people behaviour when we speak English and they forget to rem English is our 2nd language.

But they are just being English! It is like French people being rude (even to each other), or Americans always feeling morally superior to the rest of us, or Germans laking tact, Dutchmen being tight-fisted, Swedes having no sense of humour, Belgians being self-indulgent, Welshmen being firey tempered, Argentines being insufferably arrogant, Scots finding no joie de vivre in life (as long as they stay sober), It is all part of the variegated pattern of life among our species. Enjoy, and if any of it makes you feel superior, all the better.

I would seriously reconsider believing you know English if I were you. That wall of text made no sense whatsoever. Are you talking about people from England or people who speak English? That wasn't the only flaw, though. More frustrating was the horrendous grammar that could have only resulted from you smashing your face repeatedly into your keyboard.

Well, most people I know would never point out an accent. And about us not knowing a 2nd language? Learning a language is compulsory in English schools up to Yr9, and for most schools (but not all) a 2nd language is compulsory for the GCSEs.

Hey I know 2 other languages and I am English and I think it is just normal for people in any language to point out accents.
