Good way to learn spanish fast?

• My boyfriend's family is spanish and hardly speaks any english. I usually eat dinner at their house and they usually talk and laugh say say things that I don't understand. I usually stay quiet unless they ask me something, which my boyfriend has to translate for me. I just want to know a way to learn spanish fast! I stupidly took french instead of spanish. I don't think my boyfriend seems to mind translating, but I don't want him to waste his breath just translating, especially since lately he's been sick and his throat isn't in the best shape. Please help me!

  Nunca me maquillo. Me pongo los zapatos Salgo y camino a la clase a las ocho menos diez. I normally wouldn't say a las ocho menos diez since it's such a mouthful. I would say a las siete y cinquenta, but it's all up to you.
