Are there jobs specifically for people with an associates in Biotechnology?
-
I have an associates in Biotechnology. I am having problems with getting jobs with labs and biotech companies and I live in the Washington DC area. Most of the lab jobs, low end ones, only require a high school diploma. I went trough 2 companies who were supposed to help me find lab jobs, both refuse to help me out cause I do not have a bachelors. They told there is not anything available specifically for people with he degree that I have. A friend with the same degree as me, got a job in a lab that only requires a high school diploma, he studies fruit flies. Am I stuck doing low end lab work that a high school student can get? I feel like this degree is a waste of time. I was hoping this degree would actually help me out while working on my bachelors
