Good first jobs for 15/16 year old?

  • I'm currently looking to earn some extra money and I was wondering what the best/easiest way to get a job as a 15 year old. I turn 16 in early May so if it's better to wait until then, I would be able to wait. I've never had a real job before all though I did get paid hourly for moving my Aunt's Parents' business so I have a very little bit of experience of going to work every day and getting up to go. If you guys have any suggestions of where to find a job for me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Retail is something to conciser. Working at the mall is really fun. Everybody gets to know you and it's not too hard to do.

Go with the flow

Well, with the way movies are distrbuted now, it may not be as good of an idea as it used to be, but when I was your age I got a job at a local movie theater and loved it! Free movies, free popcorn, cool people to work with and always interesting people coming through, got to meet a few celebrities from that as well. One rock star would come in about once a month and he always had a cigarette craving half way through the movie so he would come out and smoke, that was when I would have a break as well so we would talk quite a bit, got free tickets to his concerts too. :)
