How to connect PS3 to internet using Tata Photon Plus?

  • Hi guys, I live in India. I have a PS3 (latest). I use Tata photon plus for going online in my desktop. The problem is that I do not know how to connect PS3 to internet using my tata photon plus. My questions- 1) Can tata photon be connected to ps3 without using a computer for going online? 2) Can only wifi be connected to ps3 for wireless internet? 3) If tata photon plus can be connected, how? For those who don't know what tata photon is, its a usb modem (data card) Please help, thanks

    Try connecting tata photon to PS3 and see what happens, it should detect it try it out.

No 2. yes, only wifi for wireless connection. or else, there is ethernet port for wired connection. 3. you can consider buying a 3G wifi router but it works with some data cards running 3G data card [not sure if it supports tata photon data cards too] or if u have a laptop connected to internet using photon. u can use your laptop's wifi to connect PS3 to internet via laptop. btw don't expect multiplayer gaming on tata photon data card. these cards lack low ping which is required for multiplayer gaming. these are only good for surfing and downloading
