How To Pray The Rosary?

When you pray the rosary, how long do you take?

  • If I pray the rosary in a group, as I sometimes do before one mass that I attend, we take barely 15-20 minutes. I feel like I barely can keep up, let alone really ponder the mysteries at that speed. Maybe they go fast so that they can start late and still be done before mass, so I'm not complaining, but I don't like to go that fast. If I pray the rosary alone, I usually take about 45 minutes to an hour. If I sing parts of it, I take longer, but that's because it just takes more time to sing. Do you vary a lot in how long it takes you to say the rosary?

  • Answer:

It depends on how full of a Rosary I pray. I really never thought to figure how much time I took since I usually pray it alone. I like to take my time, so I figure it'd take me around an hour. It could take me a LOT longer, but I have trouble with lasting that long for a lot of reasons. God Bless you.

. Are you a Roman Catholic ? please read Revelation 18:4. Even Jesus Himself decried the use of saying the same prayer repeatedly - Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. .

Jesus Said, Do not Say prayers in repetitious ways. For your Father in Heaven Knows what you are asking for Before you even Ask. He knows your Thoughts. so Ask in Faith Believing and do not Doubt.
