Virtual Charter School?

Can my school's charter get removed for this?

• I go to a charter school, and on Monday there was a HUGE drug bust. 1/4 of the students in my high school in various grades either got suspended or expelled from a school-wide dealing some seniors had made. The school's charter is scheduled to be renewed next school year, and some parents and their kids are afraid the school board will remove the charter, causing NOT just the high school, but the middle and elementary schools, which are connected, to be closed forever. What are the chances of this actually happening?

  Nobody can answer that question. Charter schools haven't been around long enough for people to know what the results of such things would be. Personally, I think charter schools are a bad idea, and this shows that they are not any safer than public schools. Go to your local school.
