I Want To Become A Book Editor - High School Classes I Should Take?

• I am in high school. I already filled out what classes I should take next year (tenth grade). But I didn't realize what I wanted to do with my life until about a month after I had already turned in the paper with my future electives. For eleventh grade, I'll need to catch up with the time I wasted on electives I took on a whim. Next year I will be taking creative writing. I heard someone say that taking journalism is a good idea if I want to be an editor, too, so I will be taking that class as a junior. Are there any other classes that I should take in high school if I want to get in a good college for this career? I want to edit fictional writing, by the way. That's my goal in the end. Don't worry about what my school has to offer; it has almost every class under the sun.
