Things to do on a long haul flight?

What beauty items should I pack in my hand luggage for a long haul flight?

  • I'm going on a long haul flight next weekend to New York as we're going to a friend's wedding and I've never been on a flight for more than 2-3 hours so this is all new to me. My skin does dry out on the shorter flights so I think its going to be much worse on this flight. I was wondering what sort of things I should back. On short flights I normally take small sizes of everything because I rarely check in luggage but we are checking in luggage this time because its easier. Its a night flight because we though it would be easier with out three year old if it was night so she'd sleep and not be cranky in the morning when we land. I was thinking maybe packing a cloth face mask to wear at some point during the flight and it will only be my fiance who sees me in it and he's seen me in them before so it doesn't really matter. Should I pack any makeup? I'm not a huge makeup wearer usually just mascara and lipstick because my skin is clear but sometimes I like a little foundation, I've got some to go in my checked luggage that is what I am going to wear for the wedding. Any beauty tips for travelling long haul?

  • Answer:

I usually take make up remover wipes and/or small cleanser and toner if I've got make up on, moisturiser and any bits of make up I may feel like wearing, but usually I don't bother with the make up lol! Maybe u could take a tinted moisturiser if u felt like u needed a touch of foundation? I like the cloth face mask idea!

Hello! When I went to Florida, I packed a moisturiser, mascara, blusher, lipgloss, nail varnish, a face mask, and that was all! Hope I helped!:)

The main things you want to take are those that will make you feel refreshed and not too groggy! Obviously toothpaste etc. if you are sleeping on the plane, but also a facial setting spray will refresh your skin nicely. A nice invigorating facial scrub will make you feel refreshed, as well as something like an eye-roll on (like the Garnier one). If you want to take some make up, I would take foundation, mascara and a lip product because even if you don't need makeup necessarily, it does make you feel nice and refreshed and awake (even if you are feeling the opposite!). Hope this helps :)
