Does anyone know any good dubstep/house/trance music?

Anyone know of any good ambient/atmospheric music?

• I am trying to write about a suburban community for a story, and I normally listen to music without lyrics when I write. First, I had to write about a rural community out in the country, and found plenty of music for that. And I can find at least a few songs to fit a city setting, but nothing for a suburban setting. It doesn't matter if it's peaceful, or a little bit unsettling, that's sort of what I'm going for. To give you a better idea, the community tries to look perfect and beautiful and happy, while they really aren't. Most of the people there are prideful and xenophobic. But it isn't completely bad. Note that I normally listen to Boards of Canada, but the subliminal messages in their music make me uncomfortable. If you know of any music sort of like theirs, but without any evil messages in it, that would be awesome! Thanks! :D

  You could try "The Royal Game" by The Humble Bee. It sounds pleasant but has a slight menacing darkness to it. Anything by The Humble Bee or E & I would probably suit what you're looking for really. "Proximities" by Steve Roden has that feel about it. "Solo Andata" by Solo Andata, "Pearls" by Cory Allen and "Tele" by Pjusk would all work. Maybe try some William Basinski, Machinefabriek or Marsen Jules too.
