How can my band find a singer?

I am in a 5 piece alternative rock band, we have a keyboardist, 2 guitars drum and bass. I really like the guys but we lost our singer 4 months ago and can't find a replacement. We aren't very popular guys so it's not like we can just go to our contact list and just start going down until we find someone. We have 4 friends that can sing, 3 didn't want to do it and the one wanted to but was more into singing rap and hip hop then what we wanted so he left cause we wouldnt let him. We dont know where else to look for a singer and none of us can sing at all. Any suggestions thanks

put up fliers for an audition. get the band together and after all the auditions- go over the people and come to an agreement on one. you could also have call backs and what not if you cant come to an agreement on one and are caught between a couple. good luck hopefully you find someone soon! :D
