What are some good love songs from recent indie rock?

Rock/Indie/Alternative acoustic love songs?

  • My boyfriend and I are getting married this summer. We are looking for some good love songs for our wedding. Some will be used in church and we also are looking for a first dance song! We can't find one that's danceable enough for two not so very good dancers :) We don't like the typical "Bryan Adams" or "Dolly Parton" love songs. But we like rock music, indie, alternative. And it will be played acoustic. We already have two songs: Everlong by foo fighters (acoustic) Green Eyes by Coldplay I read follow you into the dark by death can for cutie is a song that many people like, But we don't like that one because in the lyrics it's about death.. We don't like that ;) Slooo... Does someone had a good idea?? :)

    me and my wife had wish you where here for our first dance , not a usual choice but it was our song and it is a classic. "Bag O' Miracles by the eagles of death metal is also a great tune walkin man by seasick steve also
