Should I include the volunteer work on my resume?

Where would i include being a teachers assistant in high school for my resume?

  • im just starting out trying to get my first job, in retail and dont have much experience. in high school there was a class you could take where instead of a class you help a teacher with grading papers and other work they might have for you, would it be a good idea to include this in my resume? and if so what should i list it as? volunteer work? or experience? also should i put my schools address and phone number for contact information?

  • Answer:

if the job your trying to get has anything to do with teaching, yes. if your trying to get a job at McDonalds,it wouldn't be relevant to anything you would be doing there.
