What a 3rd interview for a Full - Time IT position means.?
-
Hello, I am writing this question to get some insight from the masses out here on yahoo answers. I had a phone interview last week for an Operations Technician in a data center at a hospital. I got called back 3 hours for a in person interview the next tues. I had the 2nd interview in person where I actually traveled to the on-site location where we had a face to face interview. I was asked some technical questions, and shown around the work area where I would be residing most of my time. I had a large amount of details of what I would be doing. The schedule, the hours , what days id be working, and any other minor details. I asked some questions , but was drawing a blank for questions. Luckily, when I interviewed in person the interviewer told me he was tapped out for questions. Also, on a side note I am not sure how much this really will play into detail but I was told that with all the other things going on at the moment that he was "winging" the interview. He seemed to be very straight to the point, and even joked around a little bit. I felt pretty comfortable and answered the questions to the best of my knowledge, and thanked him for his time. I asked when I would hear back from them and was given the answer by the end of the week. He told me that he had 2 other interviews remaining that week and I would know by Friday or so. I got a call today (being thursday) to schedule a third interview. *note* : I was suppose to be interviewed by two people during the second interview, but one could only make it due to scheduling issues. Any opinions / advice would be greatly appreciated. What should I expect for a third interview question wise, and the possible tone of it. In the past I have usually been offered the job after two. Thanks for your time!

Answer:
Perhaps the other person who was unavailable for the second interview wants to meet with you. It certainly is a good sign! As for the tone, probably more professional than the last interview. It seems like the guy you saw the first time didn't really know what he was doing. Good luck!
