Good first jobs for 15/16 year old?

  • I'm currently looking to earn some extra money and I was wondering what the best/easiest way to get a job as a 15 year old. I turn 16 in early May so if it's better to wait until then, I would be able to wait. I've never had a real job before all though I did get paid hourly for moving my Aunt's Parents' business so I have a very little bit of experience of going to work every day and getting up to go. If you guys have any suggestions of where to find a job for me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

    Try yogurt shops, small cafes, and other small stores. I have found that local places are usually willing to help out a good kid who just needs hours after school. Also consider life-guarding, that was always a great summer job for me. If its easier to get a job at 16 in your state you can still start looking now, it might take a few weeks to get hired.

Wait until you're 16 for the labor laws, its so soon anyway. My first job was putting books away at a library. You can try getting a job at a local ice cream shop or something like that part time. Camp is coming up, you can be a counselor for young children.
